This Year's Highlights
- Raised $150,000 in initial private funds, recently approved for $300,000 in funding from Indiana University's METAcyte venture funding program, under consideration for $1.75MM in grant funding from Indiana's 21st Century Research & Technology Fund.
- Generated results from both clean fluids and sera that clearly surpass current state of the art for this direct detection technology family (surface plasmon resonance), as compared to Biacore and Nomadics, the two dominant players.
- Signed 20 year in-vitro diagnostics/life sciences veteran Andrew Cothrel as interim CEO. His last corporate position was Vice President, Operations and Site Manager Applied Science for Roche Diagnostics.

Anticipated Highlights
- Expect to have the Development Team in place for our first-to-market bioanalytical research system 3Q07, with a goal of Beta testing 3Q08 and fully launching into the research market 1Q09.
- Expect to have our R&D headquarters established and equipped 4Q07, allowing STI to move off of the Indiana University campus and giving STI clear ownership of all future IP generated.
- Expect to receive $1.75MM 21st Century grant funding late 3Q07 or early 4Q07.
