This Year's Highlights

  • CS-Keys received a commercializable batch of its first product,caPCNA, an immunohistochemistry stain. This product provides a definitive diagnosis of cancer in tissue biopsies at all stages of disease. CS-Keys anticipates sales of this IHC by 1Q08.
  • CS-Keys has advanced its serum-based ELISA. It is being calibrated to patient samples and their severity of disease. The ELISA is 96-well plate with a colorimetric endpoint. This product will monitor the remission status of cancer patients.
  • The science has recently been published in The Proceedings from the National Academy of Sciences, The Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery and in Proteomics. CS-Keys is building awareness and demonstrating the utility of its products.

Anticipated Highlights

  • CS-Keys is in discussion with several companies for potential research collaborations. The collaborations will focus on new applications for the caPCNA antibody. The company anticipates at least one agreement within the next 2 quarters.
  • CS-Keys will begin 510(k) studies for the ELISA in early 2008. The product will be used to assess remission status of a patient. A retrospective study is designed. CS-Keys anticipates filling for approval by the end of 2008.
  • CS-Keys is exploring the science behind the post translational modifications that create the unique cancer-associated isoform of PCNA. This work will result in target identification and validation to support a therapeutic program.

Corporate Mission

CS-Keys is focused on the discovery, development and commercialization of diagnostics based on the knowledge of the DNA replication process of cancer cells. Each diagnostic works across the spectrum of malignancy, at the earliest stages of disease and in borderline conditions. Each diagnostic tool is designed to augment processes routinely conducted in pathology labs utilizing standard equipment in order to lower barriers to adoption.

Each diagnostic is intended to reduce ambiguity, lower the overall cost of obtaining an accurate diagnosis and improve patient outcomes.

In achieving this mission CS-Keys demonstrates its dedication to reducing the impact of cancer on patients, their loved ones, physicians and payers.
