This Year's Highlights
- TRS is a multi-disciplinary team of clinicians, researchers and business experts founded to develop innovative products to significantly improve treatment for the over 50 million people in the U.S. who suffer from back pain.
- TRS has developed bioresorbable products for use in spine fusion procedures. The products are produced using its proprietary Integrated Tissue Regeneration Platform to address the mechanical, biologic, and surgical needs of these treatments.
- Prototypes have been implanted in three different animal studies to demonstrate that the devices provide ideal surfaces for bone formation while simultaneously supporting in vivo functioning mechanical loads.

Anticipated Highlights
- TRS has successfully designed, manufactured and implanted its spine fusion and mandibular condyle reconstruction devices in animals. TRS plans to submit a 510k to the FDA in the first half of 2008 for its bioresorbable spine fusion cage.
- TRS is currently integrating a coating and delivery system for its products to deliver growth factors such as Bone Morphogenic Protein (BMP). TRS coated devices will have the ability to control dosage, delivery rate and location, to optimize bone growth.
